T he Barbie Truck is rolling through town in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Malibu Barbie. Stopping at Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi on July 16, the pop-up will feature retro-inspired, Barbie merchandise.

Fans can shop a variety of ’70s-themed Malibu Barbie apparel, including a Barbie-logo embroidered denim jacket, Pink Barbie-logo hoodie, and Ring T-shirt. There will also be accessories for sale, like a tie-dye bucket hat, embroidered patch set, enamel pin set, stainless thermal bottle, beach towel, Malibu Barbie necklace, and burlap shopper tote.

Pieces range from $12 to $75, and the Barbie Truck takes cards only. The truck will set up shop near Twelve Oaks Mall’s food court entrance. It will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The local visit is just one of many stops on The Barbie Truck Totally Throwback Tour. The tour kicked off in Los Angeles, California, in 2019, and was most recently in Grand Rapids, Chicago, Boston, and Staten Island in New York City. It travels to Ohio next and will be there from July 23-Aug. 13.
