On a recent visit to Disneyland Paris, we raced to the Hotel Santa Fe for a few nights. It was our first time staying at the resort which had been converted to a Pixar’s Cars theme a few years ago. Check out Tom’s video walkthrough of the room below, and keep reading for a photo tour.

First thing we encountered in the room was this storage area, with crib included for tiny motorists. The silver pattern resembles a toolbox.

Next, the bathroom immediately made an impression.

The “car wash” style arrow and lights around the bathroom mirror really stand out.

The bathroom contained many cute “Cars” themed toiletries. We wish we had stuff like this at Walt Disney World hotels! First was this Lightning McQueen Piston Cup tissue box.

Next we discovered more Piston Cup designs on shampoo and conditioner bottles. The large body wash bottle would not fit in its intended holder, which was broken.

Lastly, Piston Cup paper cups adorned the bathroom sink.

Outside of the bathroom is a small table and mirror.

The mirror frame has a Southwestern theme appropriate for the “Cars” films. In reality, it’s a holdover from the original rooms.

Next, we walked into the sleeping area.

Immediately, we enjoyed the colorful “Cars” bed runners and the cone lamps.

A picture of Mater sleeping was displayed over the bed.

More delightful “Cars” decorations. This character art will look familiar to anyone who has stayed at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort.

Cone lights and a Rollingstop license plate decorate the bed headboard.

The nightstand has the room phone and the TV remote.

The view out of the moderate sized window.

We really enjoyed the “road and cones” zigzag pattern of the window curtain and howe it still tied into the original hotel theme.

Finishing out the room, there is a blue, 60s era car seat, and a dresser.

A television is found on the dresser, in front of the familiar tool box metal pattern.

Lastly, a charming cone shaped lampshade sits on one of the 1992 lamps. Behind that is a cone shaped mirror!

Hotel Santa Fe isn’t one of the nicest Disney hotels we’ve stayed in, but it is cute and comfortable enough, also sure to charm any Cars fans you might have at home.

Talk about low effort. This looks like a themed bedroom in some airbnb in Orlando. Hard pass – looks so cheap.
