With al fresco socialising set to be the only way many of us can see friends and family for the next few months, thousands of Britons will be hosing down their BBQs and dusting off the outdoor furniture.

And now pizza lovers can rejoice, as Aldi's sell-out pizza oven is returning to stores this week, helping you transform your garden into your favourite Italian.

While many similar gadgets often cost several hundred pounds, the portable Gardenline BBQ Pizza Oven from Aldi retails at just £39.99.

Unsurprisingly shoppers are already rushing to get their hands on one, with the oven already sold out online.

It will be available to purchase in Aldi branches from Thursday - just in time for the lighter evenings as the clocks go forward this weekend.

The Gardenline BBQ Pizza Oven works on gas and charcoal barbecues and attaches to your appliance, using its heat to cook your homemade pizza.

It features a ceramic pizza stone to give it that tasty stonebaked crispy crust, and cooks 12 inch pizzas in 10 minutes.

It comes with an easy to clean stainless steel interior and a temperature gauge so you can keep an eye on when it's hot enough to start cooking.

It's also portable, with two carry handles - meaning you can take it along to a friend's house when the Rule of Six outdoors returns on March 29.  

Since the roadmap out of lockdown was announced, Brits have been scrambling to get outdoor furniture and BBQs - but the surge in demand and Brexit shipping problems has meant many retailers have already sold out.

As well as its pizza oven, Aldi is stocking four more 'outdoor ktichen' items in its Specialbuys event this Thursday - including a budget version of the Big Green Egg ceramic BBQ.

Gardenline Kamado Ceramic Egg BBQ is priced at £349.99 in gunmetal grey comes with a temperature gauge, a powder coated steel hinge, chimney top, fire grate and two cooking grills. While it's not cheap, it's considerably less expensive than the real deal.

The Japanese-inspired insulated design allows you to cook food that is both succulent but and smoky at the same time.  

Also available to pre-order is its Ambiano Electric Grill, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, and a Gardenline Kettle BBQ Trolley, which comes with a 22inch diameter cold rolled steel kettle barbecue with enamel coating built into a trolley with a wooden and rubber chopping board.

It features a chrome plated food grill and a zinc plated charcoal grid as well as a warming grill, hooks for cooking tools, a storage shelf and wheels to easily move it around the garden space.

Also in this week's Specialbuy range is this Gardenline Kettle BBQ Trolley, which comes with a 22inch diameter cold rolled steel kettle barbecue with enamel coating built into a trolley with a wooden and rubber chopping board
