Lambeau Field is set to welcome fans for Sunday night's home opener between the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears, the first regular season game at Lambeau Field.
Kickoff Weekend festivities will begin at 5 p.m. on Saturday, with the Kickoff Weekend concert event, presented by SiriusXM, Ticketmaster, Polaris and American Family Insurance. The concert will feature multi-GRAMMY award-winning band Train, in the parking lot on the northwest side of Lambeau Field.
This weekend will celebrate the Packers' annual Alumni Weekend, with halftime of Sunday's game introducing dozens of former Packers players from several eras of the team.
With ongoing construction on the east side of the stadium, fans are asked to pay attention as they approach the stadium, as new traffic signage will direct them to the appropriate lanes and parking lots to enhance efficiency. Those with parking passes should display them on their mirrors.
Fans attending Sunday's game will also notice new pedestal-style ticket scanners, aimed at getting fans into the stadium quicker and more easily. Ticket holders can either scan mobile tickets that have been added to their digital wallet on the upper part of the pedestal, or scan each mobile ticket's barcode on the lower part of the pedestal. Each ticket must be scanned separately, and fans are asked to have their mobile tickets ready to scan as they approach the gate to allow for more efficient entry.
Fans should note that Lambeau Field and all of its businesses are now cashless. Fans should plan ahead to bring credit/debit cards or use contactless payment solutions. A cash-to-card conversion station is available in the Atrium for those who do not use credit/debit cards.
Sunday's game will also recognize NFL Votes with on-field stencils and video board messaging encouraging fans to register to vote. NFL Votes is a league-wide, nonpartisan initiative that supports and encourages civic engagement among NFL players and Legends, club and league personnel, and fans.
Game attendees can also enjoy two levels of the new Miller Lite End Zone behind seating section 100 in the lower concourse on the north side of the stadium. The space includes the grab-and-go Miller Lite Market on the ground floor and the Miller Lite End Zone Bar on the second level, a climate-controlled bar space with a capacity of nearly 400. The bar will also host the Packers Radio Network pre-game show, Packers Preview, featuring Dennis Krause, James Jones and Mike Heller two hours prior to kickoff.
Fireworks will be set off from the stadium roof one hour prior to kickoff to remind fans to start making their way to the stadium in order to be inside by kickoff. Attendees entering all stadium gates will receive a Kickoff Weekend Rally Towel, compliments of SiriusXM, Ticketmaster, Polaris and American Family Insurance.
Prior to the national anthem, the Packers and WPS Health Solutions will be recognizing Adam Gossens of Appleton through Operation Fan Mail on the video boards. Country recording artist Caitlyn Smith will sing the national anthem, with a large American flag on the field. A flyover featuring F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft will be performed by the Wisconsin Air National Guard's 115th Fighter Wing from Truax Field in Madison. This flyover is the final flyover the 115th will perform with these F-16s, as the group prepares to fly with newer F-35 aircraft moving forward. Halftime will also feature the High School Quarterback Challenge, this week featuring Sun Prairie West Wolves and Sun Prairie East Cardinals.
Fans are reminded of the stadium safety policy. No bags or purses will be allowed inside Lambeau Field unless they are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and are no larger than 12" by 6" by 12". The full carry-in policy can be found at packers.com/lambeau-field/carry-in-policy.
The Lambeau Field parking lots will open Sunday at 3:20 p.m., with gates opening at 5:20 p.m. The Atrium will be open to ticket holders at 1:20 p.m. via the American Family Insurance Gate, with exit/re-entry ticket scanning until 3:20 p.m. Fans can visit the Johnsonville Tailgate Village in the east side parking lot to enjoy food, beverages and a festive tailgating atmosphere.
