A jeweller has taken the internet by storm after revealing how to make diamond rings sparkly clean using one common household item.

Michael Fallah, from Sydney, Australia, 36, owns his own business creating pieces for customers that cost anywhere between $2,000 and $30,000.

In the short video, the diamond ring was cleaned by a staff member using nothing but dishwashing liquid and warm water.

A video demonstrating how to clean jewellery with ease has gone viral on TikTok. All you need is dishwashing liquid, a safety pin, a glass of warm water, a toothbrush and paper towel

Next, a toothbrush is used to remove any miniscule particles of unwanted dirt off the ring, then she gives it a quick rinse before patting dry using a paper towel. The diamond ring was left sparkling in the light and looking as if it were brand new

The industry trick left thousands stunned at its sheer simplicity.

First, the woman adds a squirt of detergent into a glass of warm water then places the ring onto a safety pin and dunks it in the water, ensuring it's submerged for at least two minutes.
