ANDREWS — Bathroom accessory manufacturer WingIts announced that it will open a $7.4 million distribution, fulfillment and final assembly center near Andrews, bringing more than 40 jobs with it.

The New Jersey-based company manufactures a wide variety of bathroom accessories, such as shower rods, soap dishes, towel bars, shelves and lighted mirrors. Its new facility will be located at 259 Technology Drive, just off of U.S. Route 521 southeast of downtown Andrews.

WingIts expects the Andrews facility to be up and running in August. The S.C. Coordinating Council for Economic Development allowed Georgetown County a $200,000 grant to help with site preparation and construction. The company also plans to bring manufacturing to the facility in the future.

"Bringing new opportunities to Georgetown County is always a plus," Georgetown County Council chairman Louis Morant said. We are excited that this company has decided to locate its operations here and look forward to a long-lasting relationship."
